That's one of the many things that make Larry Thomas so likeable is that he is "regular folk" regardless of his accomplishments. He's down-to-earth as these photos will show.
These were snapped after the Mid-Ohio-Con show, and like every entertainer, Larry took a liking to the microphone. Of course, he was not alone in this, but let's give him a hard time anyway.

Captions provided by Johnny Dupe, and pictures were taken by two friends Larry met that evening, Mike and Dawn Butcher. Thanks, Mike and Dawn for providing us evidence of Larry's uncanny singing ability.

Is that a Great Dane behind those two guys? Where's his microphone?

Larry is not actually singing here. The lights went out at Burger King, and he's telling everyone not to panic. Thanks to him, no one got hurt.

Larry sings a tender ballad complete with backing vocals, but later realized that there was no one there to listen to him.

Dawn, one of the many cool people Larry met, (as well as one of the photographers), takes a break with the man of the hour. She's smiling because the singing temporarily stopped.

And here's Dawn's husband Mike, who also took some of these photos. He was one of the patient ones, and didn't throw fruit or vegetables at Larry during his 20 minute rendition of "MacArthur Park".

To close out the evening, Larry belted out "You Are So Beautiful", and then the underwear started flying on stage from adoring females.

The fact they were Depends does not take away from the effectiveness of his performance.

"I'm including a photo of me taken with a couple of Rockettes when we did The Odd Couple in St. Louis last week.  Maybe you could find a place for it and say "Larry joins the Rockettes" or something."
